Bowen since 1999 / Massage since 1993
Born and raised in Atlanta, I was in sales for the first part of my career. I thought I had found my dream life as selling seemed to be my forte. However, after twenty years, I became so burned out that I had to save my health and seek other avenues. As if being led, I moved to southern California and found massage therapy. I was accredited at the Massage Therapy School of Santa Monica and as I began my practice, I realized that this was truly my life's work. I moved to northern California and worked as the only Certified Massage Therapist in a sports club there.
As I worked on my clients, I found that my massage could actually relieve the pain that so many people carry from the stress created in their day to day lives. Consequently, I also saw the long term pain that people carry and wanted to go further in my work to find a way of bringing relief.
A client from Australia introduced me to BowenWork™. Again, as if being led, I attended a health fair where there was a Bowen Therapy booth. I immediately signed up to take the courses and launched my BowenWork™ practice in 1999.
After successfully treating hundreds of clients with BowenWork™, I am still as amazed as they are at the deep healing that takes place with this gentle modality. I have many letters of recommendations from clients attesting to this on the following pages.
After twelve years, I returned to the Atlanta area with the hope of introducing Tom Bowen's amazing healing to yet another area of the country. Because massage and BowenWork™ are distinctly different, I still offer my massage and each session is geared to the individual needs of my client. I so look forward to meeting and working with you.
